We support international education in Twente for several reasons. Main motivation is that SIO in combination with the high quality technical education in Twente offers a breeding ground for future skilled and well educated Hitec personnel. Our people and their knowledge are the core assets of our company. All Hitec employees must be able to communicate in English in their daily business, as our business is an international business.
Next to that we have eight subsidiaries worldwide, so we offer our people the opportunity to develop their careers abroad. We also have plans to build a second factory in Malaysia to expand our production capacity in 2010. This means we will train future colleagues from abroad and offer career opportunities at our Almelo factory for them as well.
Having international education in Twente is an important factor to motivate foreign colleagues and their family for a longer stay in Twente. Supporting SIO Twente mirrors our ambition to enable our people to 'think global, act global!'
